-> Tierp  -> 2022–Present  -> Parliamentary leader of my local opposition party, shadowing the mayor. Includes coordinating and leading several lay politicians and activists; sole responsibility of municipal policy work and research; main author of yearly 60-page in-depth shadow budget; negotiation with other parties’ local leaderships; extensive boots-on-the-ground campaign work, planning and prep; other community outreach; contact with media; tactical and strategic leadership of the party.

-> Tierp  -> 2021–Present  -> Created the party with a couple others in Tierp in late 2021 after drafting a 30-page white paper on local politics, demographics and strategy. We quickly grew in membership and won about 4.5% in the municipal election about a year later, yielding a couple seats in the assembly. This despite very few pre-existing connections to the community. Expect much higher results in the 2026 election after extensive campaigning during the term, including leading involvement in two successful public initiative ballot measure campaigns.

-> Örebro  -> 2021–Present  -> Political aide attached to the Örebro Party assembly groups and commissioners. Includes preparation of policy briefs for ÖP’s lay politicians in most municipal subcommittees; extensive other policy and opposition research; preparation of the yearly shadow budget proposals in both county and municipality; membership processing and preparation of future candidate selection, including counter-oppo; design of outreach material such as flyers; general administrative work; support start-up of aligned parties in other municipalities; as well as tactical and strategic decision making alongside party leadership.

-> 2023–Present  -> Originally Alliance of Local parties in Uppsala County, reconstituted in 2024 and to be re-launched in 2025 ahead of the 2026 general election. I wrote most of the proposed new political program and work on the new website.

As board member I work on study material, overarching tactics and the yearly application for government youth organization grants. Between 2019 and 2023 my activities in the organization included regular visits to high schools across Sweden for outreach and recruitment.

Oversight of a large organization with both employees and volunteers engaged in diverse operations including major night club, pub, internal events, events venue for hire, student housing, scholarships and financial support, prestige real estate, and arts procurement. Other previous volunteer positions at the student nation include marketing team copywriter, member of the scholarships committee, Sunday café manager, librarian, magazine editor-secretary and member of the cultural heritage committee.

Amnesty International, Phone canvasser & Recruiter

-> Stockholm  -> 2027–2018  -> Calling pre-existing members to ask them to sign petitions and to increase their regular contributions, and cold calling to recruit new long-term members. Weekly education seminars on human rights, world affairs and the organization’s ongoing efforts included as part of the job.

-> Involved in the UK-oriented online parliamentary role-playing game MHOC on-and-off between 2014 and 2024, drafting mock legislation and budgets, negotiating and participating in written formal debates and other role-played parliamentary work.

Swedish native, English fluent. Spanish at about an A2 level (CEFR).

Proficient at fundamental Office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with daily use. Comfortable with much of the Adobe suite, including Photoshop, inDesign and Premiere. Regularly use mass-production graphic tools like Canva. Some experience with very basic website design in bespoke site builders as well as Wordpress.

Relevant interests: Organization and campaign strategy, economic policy and public finances, municipal and local politics, constitutional issues, governance and the politics of public administration.

Other interests: Philosophy, history, music, mysticism, literature, global affairs.

I spend what little free I have time reading (fiction and non-fiction), doing recreational writing, watching video essays, hoarding books, listening to politics and history podcasts, bedroom DJing (mostly techno), listening to weird music, lifting weights, hanging out with my cats and girlfriend, visiting family in Stockholm, dancing, or having heated late night pub debates with friends.
